Overview
We are seeking a proactive and data-driven Customer Marketing & Lead Generation Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising campaigns that engage existing customers, generate high-quality leads, and accelerate the buyer journey across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and executor, with a strong grasp of inbound and outbound marketing, content distribution, CRM management, and performance analytics.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Demand Creation

  • Develop and execute multi-channel lead generation campaigns (email, paid ads, SEO/SEM, social media, webinars, events, etc.) targeting key buyer personas.
  • Optimise landing pages, forms, and lead magnets to increase conversions and lower acquisition costs.
  • Collaborate with Sales to align campaigns with pipeline targets and qualify MQLs and SQLs.
  • Leverage A/B testing and analytics to improve messaging, offers, and user flows.

Customer Marketing

  • Create campaigns that drive retention, cross-sell, upsell, referrals, and customer advocacy.
  • Segment customer base and personalise communications based on lifecycle stage, behaviour, and purchase history.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to develop case studies, testimonials, and feedback loops.
  • Launch NPS, feedback, or customer satisfaction campaigns to inform product and marketing decisions.

CRM & Marketing Automation

  • Own the strategy and execution of automated workflows using [HubSpot / Marketo / Salesforce / Other CRM].
  • Manage email marketing programs, including newsletters, lifecycle emails, nurture tracks, and re-engagement campaigns.
  • Maintain clean and segmented databases for efficient targeting and compliance with GDPR and other data regulations.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report campaign performance metrics, including CAC, CPL, CTR, conversion rates, ROI, and lead velocity.
  • Regularly present insights and recommendations to the marketing and leadership teams.
  • Continuously improve performance through data-led decision making and agile marketing methodologies.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Collaborate with content, design, and digital teams to create high-converting assets and landing pages.
  • Support broader brand and product marketing initiatives with customer-centric insights and marketing execution.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and best practices in customer engagement and demand generation.
Requirements

Essential:

  • 3+ years’ experience in customer marketing, demand generation, or growth marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics (email, SEO, PPC, content, social).
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and campaign project management skills.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data and act on insights.

Desirable:

  • Experience in B2B or SaaS industries.
  • Knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
  • Experience working with sales teams or within a revenue-focused organisation.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, SEMrush, Zapier, or Notion.
